Hall of Champions

The NSW Hall of Champions is the state’s premier hall of fame and sport museum which celebrates the outstanding achievements of our athletes. Over 300 athletes representing 47 sports are featured including famous names such as:

 

  • Dawn Fraser (Swimming)
  • Les Darcy (Boxing)
  • Kay Cottee (Yachting)
  • Melinda Gainsford-Taylor (Athletics)
  • Dally Messenger (Rugby League)
  • Tony Roche (Tennis)
  • David Campese (Rugby Union)
  • Sir Donald Bradman (Cricket)

Displays of medals, certificates, trophies, pennants, uniforms, equipment and Olympic memorabilia bring our great sporting heritage to life.

 

From the heritage displays to the ‘roll of honor’ – this sporting hall of fame is a site not to be missed.

 

The museum is open from 9am – 5pm seven days per week and admission is free.
