Boys & Girls Competitive Levels Stream Gymnastics

After progressing through the recreational Stepping Stone Award system, children may then choose to move into the competitive Levels stream.  Levels gymnasts have the opportunity to compete in club competitions at the end of each term and are eligible for selection to compete in regional competitions.

The program includes:
• Strength exercises
• Flexibility exercises
• New skill learning
• Routine learning and practice (in competition each gymnast is required to perform a routine on vault, bars, beam and floor)

The program is only as competitive as the child wishes to make it. The emphasis is on providing a happy and stimulating environment allowing the individual to reach their maximum potential. The Sydney Olympic Park Gymnastics Club has achieved a high level of success in regional, state and national titles.
