
Room Capacities
The Sydney Olympic Park Sports Centre has a range of multi-purpose rooms to support major events or suitable for smaller group activities.
Arena - With a total of 3854 fixed and retractable seats the main arena is the focal point of the Sydney Olympic Park Sports Centre. An additional 1152 portable seats can be accommodated on the floor level. The overall floor area measures 57 by 38 metres with a clear working height of 12.5 metres. Learn more.
Hall of Legends - Sydney Olympic Park’s newest function space, the Hall of Legends was officially opened by the Minister for Sport in July 2007. With a floor area of nearly 1200 square metres and double height ceiling, this impressive room pays homage to the state’s most outstanding athletes, whose images adorn the walls within the room. Auditorium One - Located directly off the main reception foyer at the Sydney Olympic Park Sports Centre, Auditorium One at 140 square metres has the capacity to fit 160 theatre style, 100 for dinner and 180 for cocktails. Learn more.
Auditorium Two - Separated by concertina doors from Auditorium One, Auditorium Two can seat 110 theatre style, 80 for dinner and 130 for cocktails. Learn more.
Waratah Room - Located in the Olympic Hockey Grandstand, the Waratah Room features a floor to ceiling glass wall which boasts spectacular views across the hockey fields as far as the city sky line. The room can seat 100 theatre style, 80 for dinner and 120 for cocktails. Learn more.
Eva Redfern Lounge - Looking west over the hockey warm-up pitch and opening up onto its own covered outdoor area, this room can accommodate up to 100 theatre style, 90 for dinner and 150 for cocktails. Learn more.
